New Braunfels - One 30 quart cooler or smaller per person Rule

The City of New Braunfels allows one 30 Quart Cooler or smaller per person. All Coolers are required to have a "Locking Mechanismon the Cooler Lid to prevent the contents of your cooler from spilling into the river.
One 32 Quart Cooler or smaller is allowed per person and must have a Locking Mechanism on the Lid to prevent spillage, in accordance with the 2019 Comal River Rules - TexasTubes.com
One 30 Quart Cooler or smaller allowed per Person

A "Locking Mechanism" is required by the City of New Braunfels to be on all Cooler Lids to prevent the contents of your Cooler from spilling into the river in case you flip over in your tube or your cooler accidentally falls into the river for whatever reason. Examples of "Locking Mechanisms" are: Latches, Zippers, Velcro, Bungee Cords, Side Release Buckle Straps, etc... Smaller Coolers such as the 16 Quart Igloo Playmate, have a "Locking Mechanism" as a standard feature of the Cooler. Note: Texas Tubes has 30 Quart Coolers with Locking Mechanisms for rent in case you need one, and we also sell bags of ice for your convenience.
