Covid-19 Information @ Texas Tubes

Covid-19 has changed the way we live and do things, which calls for adaptation by most businesses to accommodate their customers safely. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times as we move forward with new guidelines issued by the CDC and the Governor of Texas. We look forward to the 2022 Tube Season and seeing y'all soon! We love y'all, stay safe, positive, and healthy! Thank you, sincerely, Texas Tubes
--------------------------------------------------------------
Texas Tubes will be following the CDC's and the Governor of Texas' Guidelines to help protect our customers and employees from Covid-19, however, we will need your cooperation and patience to help make this joint effort work for the safety of everyone involved.

IMPORTANT:

If you have any underlying health issues or a weakened immune system, or live with someone who has underlying health issues, or if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or Flu symptoms or if you are sick, please stay home. Thank you!

In alignment with the CDC's recommendations, all Buses and Rental Equipment are sanitized before and after every use.  It is "recommended" that everyone bring a Face mask, a Bandana, or some type of Face Covering with you that covers your mouth and nose to wear on your return shuttle ride from the Last Public Exit back to Texas Tubes. The return bus ride is short, only about 8 to 12 minutes long. Please DO NOT wear a face covering while floating on the river as it may cause a drowning hazard. Wearing a face covering is only recommended, but not required on the Shuttle ride back to Texas Tubes. Thank you!

Because of Covid-19, we encourage everyone to bring their own personal Life Jacket if you need one to wear one... it will fit you better and be more comfortable while Tubing. If you do not have your own Life Jacket, our complimentary generic orange Life Jackets are still available upon request.

Social Distancing in an open environment like the Comal River, the Tube Chute, Hinman Island Park, Prince Solms Park, etc... are areas where people have to navigate each other to keep their distance, there are no "Social Distancing Police" on duty. It's up to each individual to monitor how close they get to other people while out on the river. People on the river are constantly moving around, so looking all around you as you go, side to side, to the rear, and looking ahead as you float will help you make adjustments on keeping your distance from others. As other Outfitters drop off their customers at various drop off points along the Comal River, high traffic areas and bottle neck areas will have a tendency to randomly bunch up, so you may have to paddle to the side of the river and pull over until things thin out, so you can proceed safely. River Tubing is meant to be fun, enjoyable, and relaxing, so if anyone thinks they will be stressed out about Social Distancing or any other issues while on the river, we recommend they stay home, stay safe, and avoid all the stress. We love y'all and we want everyone to stay safe and healthy and we also want y'all to enjoy your float trips, but we'd rather you stay home if you are not completely ready to leave your home and get on the river and have fun in an open and random environment. Be sure to join the conversation on our Facebook Page about Comal River Tubing and float trips! Thank you! Texas Tubes
